British born - Linda Finstad is the Owner of A Sharper Image Photography based in Edmonton, Alberta. Her professionally trained photographic skills coupled with fine art photo transformations, a style she calls Nuage, produces stunning portraits of horses and their people .
Linda’s work reflects her finely tuned photographic skills as well as her artistic flair with fine art. Coupled with her intuitive ability to capture the relationship between animals and their owners.
Giving each artistically designed portrait and photo shoot a sense of passion, harmony and natural beauty.
Linda’s photographic contribution to preserving Alberta’s Equine Heritage was acknowledged by her majesty the Queen of England. This extensive body of work is now housed in the Provincial Archive Museum and is known as “The Horses of Alberta” exhibit.
Experience in both photography and art gives her a “real World” ability to teach aspiring photographers how to develop their own artistic and photographic talents. Her students get a huge opportunity to learn about what matters most to clients; Linda educates on the technical and inspires her students to discover their own creativity.
